Do a Little. Change a Lot.

🌎 earth: the ultimate group project 🌎

When it comes to caring for the planet — we’re literally all in it together. Showing up through small, intentional acts makes it easy to do you part. Collective change starts with each of us and it sure adds up. Let’s celebrate that can-do spirit this week and beyond.

support biodiversity

Nature thrives on variety, and the pollinators visiting your garden are no different! When you plant native species alongside a mix of shrubs, grasses, and perennials, you're creating habitat for a whole range of critters — from ground beetles to soaring songbirds. That keeps the local ecosystem in balance and that’s good for the whole planet. Native plants are also lower maintenance and more drought-tolerant, which is a win for easy gardening and our resources!

earth week tips

plant a pollinator garden

It doesn't take much to roll out the welcome mat for local wildlife and improve the view from your windows. A few well-chosen flowers — think lavender, coneflower, or black-eyed Susan — and suddenly your yard is a preferred pit stop for all the bees, butterflies, and birds doing the important work of keeping ecosystems humming. Pollinators support about one-third of the food we eat. Planting for them is one of the sweetest (and prettiest!) things you can do for the planet.

grow fruits, veggies & herbs

Even a small container garden can make a real dent in your grocery bill and your environmental footprint. Growing your own vegetables and herbs means less packaging, fewer food miles, and less food waste — because you harvest what you need, when you need it. You can opt for fresh herbs grown on your windowsills or a backyard veggie garden bursting with color and flavor. Or both! Plus, there's something genuinely satisfying (and extra tasty) about eating what you grow.

get crafty and creative!

bee cup craft

Still a little chilly to spend the day outside? No worries, grab that polymer clay and make some bee cups! An easy and fun family activity now turns intoa cute hydration station for thirsty pollinators later in the summer.

small changes. big impact

You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make."
