Temperature: 69-72 degrees Fahrenheit
Light: At least 4 hours of direct sunlight a day
Moisture: Average; likes damp, but not wet conditions
Germination Time: 5-8 days
Planting Depth: ½” below soil
Won’t sprout? Make sure your plant is getting enough sunshine.
To encourage more full yields, prune often, and prune down to the lowest nodes.
Cilantro
Temperature: 65+ Degrees
Light: Mid to full sun
Moisture: Mid-level moisture, damp misting recommended
Germination Time: 1-2 weeks
Planting Depth: Barely cover with soil
Won’t sprout? Make sure theplanter surface hasn’t dried completely. Mist regularly to prevent drying.
Cosmos
Temperature: 72+ Degrees
Light: Maximum amount of sunlight available
Moisture: Middle moisture. Mist regularly.
Germination Time: 1-2 weeks
Planting Depth: ¼” below the surface
Won’t sprout? Don’t let the grow medium dry between waterings. In the early stages, it’s best to mist until sprouts have an established root system to wick water up and away.
Mint
Temperature: 74+ Degrees
Light: High light exposure, south facing windows highly recommended
Moisture: Dry
Germination Time: 8- 12 days
Planting Depth: Do not bury under soil
Try greenhousing. Keep in a sunny spot and cover the surface with plastic wrap. Let condensation form, and check in 3-5 days for results.
